Happy 2nd birthday Easley life photography
Its MY BIRTHDAY!! Ok, its really not....but I have officially been Easley life photography for 2 YEARS!! Woot woot! Wow the time has flown by! In March, I will have completed my 1st year full time photography milestone. I attribute my success and progress to so many things, but there is one thing that has made the biggest impact on my business.I remember my first newborn session like it was yesterday. When my nephew was born, I could not let my sister miss the opportunity to have a newborn session for Hayden. The session was done in my moms bedroom. With a sheet clipped to her headboard on one end and the ceiling fan on the other, we attempted a newborn session. Like so many before me, this was a love it or leave it moment. I was so proud of those pictures. It was at that moment I feel in love with newborn photography! While we love each photograph so much because my nephew is adorable, they just don't feel like art.Looking back, I can now see how much I have learned and accomplished in these two short years. While Hayden was my first newborn session, I didn't actually start working on my art-form until January of 2016. This is when I started focusing on learning lighting techniques, safe newborn posing, and Photoshop editing skills and I have been able to see my work transform. The newborn photos now, tend to look more peaceful and effortless but let me tell you -- there are HOURS of training, preparation and patience behind all photos taken from both me and the baby's parents! I have spent many hours taking online training classes, studying from other professionals, and attending hands-on workshops, which has attributed to the transformation that has taken place from my first newborn session to where I am now.But the one thing that has made the most impact during this amazing journey has been YOU! The support, prayers, encouragement and positive words are what helps me and my business thrive! Every client I have worked with is because you shared my page, liked my post and told your friends about the great experience you had working with me. I am eternally grateful for YOU! Without positive word of mouth I would not have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing families, newborns and little ones. Each session is an opportunity for me to learn and grow in my art, and to you I owe an enormous amount of gratitude. While I am still very critical of my art and aspire to be better, I am thankful for everything I have learned in such a short amount of time. I LOVE what I do and will continue to push myself to learn more, provide a better client experience and strive to be the best newborn photographer. Thank you all for supporting me along the way, I hope you are as excited as I am for the future of Easley life photography! Thank you,Jordan Easley
