Putting the mom in #mompreneur
For all of you that missed the announcement on my Instagram @easleylifephotography, Chris and I are so excited to be on the road to parenthood!! We have been fairly stingy with our time and wanted to soak up all the "us" time as possible. Finally, after 4 years of marriage, we are ready to share our time with a precious baby!We recently hosted the reveal party and attempted a creative reveal, which turned out to be a bust but we did ultimately find out the gender so it wasn't a complete fail! We are thrilled to be having a boy and to be joining my friends in the #boymom club! Several people at the party asked if we had name ideas....uh, hello! We had 4 years to think about this! ;) Our unborn children had been named for years! The boy name we love is Caden "Cade" Davis Easley. Thankfully the baby name quiz confirmed the name, check out my blog on naming your baby for the baby name quiz. We cannot wait to meet Cade!! I am eager to see if he has Chris's dimples and butt chin along with my blue eyes. Precious and Gracie are excited to be big sisters too....at least they will be!The mom juggle has begun already! First step is deciding how long I can photograph newborns before the baby as well as figuring out when I can start back after Cade arrives. We (moms) put all these expectations on ourselves, struggling to find the balance between comparing the experiences of our friends' pregnancies and just trusting God to give us the best delivery, recovery and of course the perfect sleeping baby. I have decided that September will be the last month to photograph newborns before Cade, which gives me a more laid back October. I will still do family and milestone sessions the first half of October, so please call me and get on the calendar because sessions are limited. I have thankfully had a great pregnancy and am continuing to believe God is protecting Cade and I throughout the rest of the pregnancy and delivery.Stay tuned for more updates on my journey to being a mompreneur (for those just tuning into my blog - mom+entrepreneur).
