Newborn safety

Each year I devote a few days to hands-on training with an experienced newborn photographer, to learn more about how to safely wrap, pose, light and photograph your newborn. Continuing education is key for everyone, specially newborn photographers. This year I traveled to Austin, TX to be mentored by Allette Wellauer with Glimpses Captured. Allette had three newborn sessions lined up, allowing me to work hands on posing and wrapping each baby. One of my favorite poses I had not successfully mastered, was the bum up pose. This one we worked on quite a bit, and I was so excited to get home for my sessions to capture this adorable pose for my moms.  I cannot thank Allette enough, she is a wonderful mentor and I can already see a drastic difference in my photographs.
